As a mystic and healer, I make it my business to achieve optimum wellness in my life and assist others on their healing journeys. As a meditator, I have established a strong connection with my higher wisdom and inner guides who advise me on my daily actions and life path. Over the years, I’ve received lots of positive news and tips from my inner wisdom, but I’ve also received some messages regarding potential dangers to my bodily health and psychic system.
Since this blog is dedicated to sharing tips about how to advance consciousness through meditation, technologies that cause potential harm to our psychic wellness is relevant. Without being too alarmist, I’ll share some research I’ve found on the topic of how EMF and heavy metals effect our bodies.
You can’t circulate in spiritual circles for too long without the topic of animal guides coming up. And there’s a reason for that. Discovering your inner helpers and teachers in meditation is fundamental to fully understanding your life theme and soul purpose.
As I’ve said many times, everyone who practices daily prolonged sacred meditation for several weeks in a row, will ultimately meet their inner guides. You have to put the time in. And that’s no small feet. But once you do, the fireworks start.
As some of you may know, our dream time can be a deeply spiritual time. I think there’s a spectrum of dreaming, from the totally mundane dream that echos the day’s events to the highly spiritual visitation where you encounter an angelic presence. In our lifetime, we’ll likely get to experience this entire spectrum.
But how is dream content spiritual? The main thing to know is that our mind is divided into two main aspects, the conscious and the subconscious. The conscious mind is the part of our being that we can see and know clearly. The conscious mind is where the limited, individual sense of self resides. It’s practical and useful. The subconscious is that part of our psyche that is just beneath our conscious awareness. We can sense it intuitively in dreams and meditation, but not quite “see” it directly. The content and experience there is not limited to the small self or the individual personality. Rather, it reflects the higher-self, the broader consciousness that connects all things, and the higher soul.
+ How to strengthen your connection to nature spirits
It’s safe to say that most of us as children were raised at least in part with a tradition of the fairy tale. Stories by C. S. Lewis, Tolkein or Grimm likely lined our nursery bookshelves and filled our youthful daydreaming with magical, mysterious beings from the nature kingdom.
After a few weeks of sitting in meditation with just the simple goal of feeling peace all throughout your system and a sense of divine love, you may feel inspired to open and receive communication from your helpers in the spirit realm.
A lot of the meditation community call these helpers “spirit guides.” I’ll use that term for the sake of conversation. Just know that ultimately they are one with you on a soul level, and they have the task of assisting you from the immaterial, inner realms. In older paradigms, mystics would refer to guides as their “angels.” Also know that you have a primary guide, or a helper who is with you your whole life, and then you have a team of helpers that come in for specific times in your life.
Okay, that’s at least a starting point. I’ll be sure to share more about spirit guides in the future (because there are a lot of different types), but for now let’s continue on about what you can expect when connecting with your guides.
